Functional pieces and one-off designs exploring surface, movement, and colour – small stories told in clay

Tones and textures drawn from moorland, hillside, and horizon – glazes that echo the meeting of land and sky.

Soft blues, sea-washed tones, and layered surfaces inspired by coastal shorelines and shifting sands.
Handcrafted ceramic mugs created for quiet moments and individual rituals. Larger mugs for proper brews, like first thing in the morning, and smaller ones for a quick afternoon boost.

About the Maker
From my studio in Leicestershire, I create handcrafted ceramics that balance function and feeling. Each mug, bowl, or vessel is wheel-thrown or hand-built in stoneware clay. This process celebrates the subtle variations that make every piece unique.
Guided by the tones of earth, sky, and sea, my work reflects a quiet connection between place, process, and emotion. It is art you can hold, use, and make part of your daily rhythm.

Handcrafted ceramics from my workshop in Leicestershire, UK.
I work with stoneware clay, throwing on the pottery wheel, hand-building, or combining both methods to create limited editions, small-batch collections, and one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces. Each piece is handcrafted and imbued with its own distinctive character, celebrating the beauty of handmade imperfection and offering collectors and admirers a truly unique addition to their collection.
My current ceramics collections explore expressive glazing that gives each piece its own presence and personality. The landscapes of the Lake District, Peak District, and coastal regions deeply influence my work, shaping forms and colours that reflect the natural world. While some pieces make a bold visual statement, all are rooted in functionality—designed to be touched, used, and genuinely enjoyed in everyday life.
I take on commissions when time allows and the pottery design fits my style.
